Collection: Pope John Paul II Pattern
“Ceramika Artystyczna” confirmed the fact that dinner was served to Father John Paul II on Polish pottery that was designed by the factory while he was aboard the plane, traveling from his homeland in Poland to Rome, during this very special pilgrimage in 1997. Dishes from this special set can still be ordered. The set that was chosen for his dinner included the following items: 6 cups with saucers (No. 768), a coffee pot (No. 118), a creamer (No. 091), 6 soup cups (No. 016), 6 mugs (No. 005), 6 small bowls (No. 327), a bowl (No. 364), a bowl (No. 365), an oval dish (No. 298), 6 napkin holders (No. 033), and a small vase (No. 098). This dinner set was designed by Ceramika Artystyczna artists in hues of cobalt colors, using small dots on a white background to commemorate this special occasion. This entire set presents itself elegantly and traditionally, with engaging simplicity. More Polish Pottery continues to order this special pattern in different shapes for our gift shops in Big Rock IL, New Buffalo MI, South Haven MI and Muskegon Mi. They are also available on our website.
